Our Building Design Service began in 1980 by designer Bob Ybarra with a primary focus on home design, predominately in Southern California. In 2019 the company was incorporated as Architekton, DBA: BY Building Design.   Bob’s education was at Sci-Arc located in Los Angeles, CA.  

We have designed projects in northern California, Arizona, Texas, Oregon and even Hawaii . Are clients have been home owners, general contractors and tract builders. Projects have included kitchen remodels, additions, Accessory Dwelling Units and custom homes in homes a variety of styles.
