Our Story
Our Building Design Service began in 1980 by Bob Ybarra with a primary focus on home design predominately in Southern California. In 2019 the company was incorporated as Architekton, DBA: BY Building Design. Bob’s education was at Sci-Arc, in Los Angeles, CA.
We have also designed projects in northern California, Arizona, Texas, Oregon and even Hawaii. Our clients include home owners, general contractors, investors and realtors. Projects include custom homes ( in variety of styles), room additions, Accessory Dwelling Units and kitchen remodels. Below is a sample of our projects.
